I AM JUST SOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE DISCOVERED THIS MOSAIC LITERARY MAGAZINE! I discovered this magazine at a time im my life that I needed too. It is also great to see the top 10 list of books. The very first book would make a great film-I think. I applaud you for bringing this Mosaic LIterary Magazine-creation to fruition. I am rapidly telling others about your mag.

"Salvage the Bones" The "against all odds" motif in this novel was out of vogue even when it was in vogue. The dull, laconic prose is meant to be redeemed by the insertion of a natural disaster. It isn't. What it is. Hurricane Katrina cannot wash away, blow away or have the eyes turn away from a trite, addled narrative that lacks purpose and purposeful characters.

Nice review. The contrast of Wilkerson's historical perspective with Shaik's contemporary one was interesting. Here is another review: http://aalbc.com/reviews/warmth_of_other_suns.html written by a reviewer who is almost 80 years old. She shares her first hand perspective.
